No. There is no fee and no obligation to book anything afterward.
Dr. Volland. He reads every submission and writes the response himself. Our office handles scheduling, but the clinical opinion is his.
Two business days in most cases. If your submission is missing something he needs, we will email you first to ask for it.
No. He can give you a realistic range. A firm treatment quote requires a CBCT scan and an in-person exam, because bone volume is the factor that decides most full-arch plans.
Yes. Submissions come in through a secure form, and your photos and details are stored and handled the same way as any other patient record in our system. They are never published, shared, or used in marketing without your separate written consent. If you would rather not upload photos through the website, call the office and we will arrange another way.
Send what you can and note which ones you skipped. The retracted photo showing your teeth biting together is the one that matters most, so try hardest on that one. If Dr. Volland needs something specific he cannot see, we will email you and ask before he writes the full response.
Nothing, unless you want it to. If you would like to move forward, the email includes a link to book a consultation. If you would rather sit with it, that is fine.
Dr. Volland is licensed in Washington State, so a virtual review for an out-of-state patient is general educational information rather than a formal doctor-patient consultation. He is glad to look at your photos and tell you what he sees, but any actual treatment would need to happen in Washington. If you are planning to travel here for care, say so in the form and we will address travel and timeline in the response.
No, and it is not meant to be. Photos show tooth condition, gum health, and bite relationships. They do not show bone volume, sinus position, or nerve location, which are the factors that determine what is surgically possible. A virtual review tells you whether you are in the right ballpark and what to expect. A CBCT scan and exam tell you what will actually happen.
