Common Questions

Answers, before you ask.

Are these real patients treated by Dr. Volland?

Yes. Every case shown was planned and performed by Dr. Jonathan Volland, and each photo is published with the patient's written permission. No stock photography, no simulated results, and no digitally altered smiles.

Will my results look like these?

Not identically, and any practice promising otherwise is overselling. Your outcome depends on your bone volume and quality, your bite, your gum position, your facial proportions, and your healing. What these cases do show is the standard of finish you should expect. At your consultation we review your 3D imaging together and tell you honestly what is achievable in your specific case.

How long did these cases take from start to finish?

Most full-arch cases follow the same arc: extractions, implant placement, and a fixed provisional bridge on the day of surgery, then roughly four to six months of healing before the final zirconia bridge is delivered. Some cases finish faster, and cases needing grafting take longer. You leave the first surgical appointment with fixed teeth in nearly every case.

Why did some of these cases avoid bone grafting?

Tilting the posterior implants lets them engage the denser bone at the front of the jaw, which often makes grafting unnecessary even after years of bone loss. It is not always possible. Whether grafting is needed in your case is determined from a CBCT scan, not from a photograph or a phone conversation.
